Nawab Raunaq Yar Khan attended Global Spirituality Mahotsav 2024
Vibrant Celebration of Global Spirituality Mahotsav 2024 with 10,000 Thriving Participants!

Global Spirituality Mahotsav was one of a kind confluence of all religions and spirituality orders in the country and perhaps in the world after the famous World Parliament of Religions meet wherein Swami Vivekananda created history with his opening remarks. Heartfulness hosted 500 spiritual leaders and over 100,000 participants from around the world for four-days.
This was in association with of Ministry of Culture. The unique spirituality summit hosted most prominent heads of spiritual organisations across all faiths and schools of beliefs from around the world who shared their nuggets of wisdom on one platform at Kanha Shanti Vanam – the Headquarters of Heartfulness and the world’s largest meditation centre in the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The summit which is themed at “Inner Peace to World Peace” to bring interfaith dialogues and help people of every age and every walk of life connect with spirituality in daily life.
The summit brought outcomes more than expected. While it was intended to bring the mankind together raising collective human consciousness and spiritual awakening, it also propelled the 500 spiritual leaders to initiate projects encompassing education, climate change, healthcare, and environmental conservation, and more, fostering One Vision, One Earth, One Sustainable Future for all! Plans are underway to solidify the project proposals will have major impact on India but some impact on rest of the world too.
These will involve some scientists and researchers from across the world who also attended the Global Spirituality Mahotsav and were inspired to make a difference.
Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the Global Spirituality Summit. Hon’ble Vice-President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar who also graced Day 3 and 4 of the summit.
By virtue of the vision and spearheading the various sustainability projects of Heartfulness, his compassion, and making meditation accessible and free for all and efforts to bring the mankind together, Rev. Daaji was honoured as ‘Global Ambassador of Peacebuilding and Faith in the Commonwealth’ the Commonwealth Secretariat’ on the concluding day of the summit. Rt. Hon. Patricia Scotland – the Secretary General of the Commonwealth Secretariat and Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar – Hon’ble Vice President of India presented the award together and both of them couldn’t conceal their adulation for Daaji’s stellar achievement.

Nawab Raunaq Yar Khan along with his spokesperson and writer Divyatha Ravi Prakash. Nawab Raunaq Yar Khan who has been elected as the IX Nizam of Asaf Jahi Dynasty and is known for his work towards communal harmony also made his presence among the key dignitaries and also known for hosting Holi and Sankranti parties over the years to bring the communities together in town. During the summit, he was in total appreciation of the vision of Rev. Daaji’s idea that man must be the experimenter to understand God by himself. He was also in appreciation of all the activities undertaken by Heartfulness.

The summit hosted various panel discussions and wisdom sessions; cultural programs associated with spirituality, an exhibition showcasing India’s spiritual history, narratives of peace, and an immersive experience for spirituality through books and music were organised. Panchakarma centres and wellness stalls were set up for those who want to avail therapeutic sessions. The role of eminent people from film, music, and sports in sensitizing people in the Global Spirituality Mahotsav has also been appreciated.
Some of the key panel discussions were centered around topics like ‘Inner Peace to World Peace’, ‘Spirituality in Daily Lives’, ‘Confluence of Pathways for Inner Peace to World Peace’, ‘Being and Becoming’; ‘Youth and Spirituality in Digital Age’ besides wisdom sessions by prominent panelists viz., Swami Mukundananda ji – Jagatguru Kripaluji Yog; Usha Behn – Brahmakumaris; Chinna Jeeyar Swami ji – Shri Vaishnavism; Devi Chitralekha ji – World Sankirtan Tour Trust; Swami Chidananda Saraswati ji – Parmarth Niketan; Mr. Fred Stell – Hindu American Foundation; Namramuni Maharaj Saheb – Parasdham; Gaur Gopal Das – ISCKON and many other across the for days.
Culture events showcasing the colourful dance and music heritage of India were also the hallmarks. A rhythm-based presentation by Bikram Ghosh and Team with a blend of Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Odissi in a seamless presentation interspersed with drums used in temples and festivals and ‘Mrutyunjay’ by Paramita Maitra enraptured the audiences.
A curtain raising concert presented by Shankar Mahadevan, Kumaresh Rajagopalan and Shashank Subramanyam enthralled music lovers especially with the spiritual raagas. Paramita Maitra, Bickram Ghosh and team, Pt. S Shekhar, Sudha Raghuraman also added flavour to the summit; while pianist Sourendro Mullick and vocalist Soumyojit Das rendered soulful a symphony. The culmination of all the festivities led to solidarity amongst all those present.
