Produced by Dr. Prathani Ramakrishna Goud and P. Ashok Kumar under RK Films and Sigdha Creations, Deeksha is a family-oriented drama directed by RK Goud. The film stars Kiran and Alekhya Reddy in the lead, supported by Aaqsa Khan, Tulasi, Anusha, Keerthana, Pravallika, and Rohith Sharma in pivotal roles. With filming already wrapped, the team is gearing up for a June release. A press conference was held on Monday to share updates about the project.
Director and producer Dr. Prathani Ramakrishna Goud spoke at the event, saying, “Deeksha is a heartfelt family story centered on the theme that determination can achieve anything. We filmed in stunning locations and wove in mythological elements to enrich the narrative. Kiran, portraying Bheemudu, has delivered a remarkable performance that’s sure to earn him praise. Aaqsa Khan’s dance in a special song is a standout. Our technical team poured their hearts into this project. Raj Kiran’s music, with five beautifully crafted songs by Madhupreya and others, is a highlight, and the background score will elevate the experience. The film also features five thrilling action sequences. We’re proud to introduce Rohith Sharma as the antagonist. As the 41st film from our banner, Deeksha reflects our commitment to quality. We’re confident audiences will embrace it. Looking ahead, we’re preparing a film called Kabaddi and plan to release at least two movies annually.”
Lead actor Kiran expressed, “Working under RK Goud sir’s guidance has been a privilege. He’s a mentor to many newcomers, and I’m grateful to be part of this journey. The entire team’s dedication mirrors the spirit of Deeksha. I’m also excited to join the upcoming project.”
Actress Aaqsa Khan shared, “I’m thankful for the support I’ve received throughout my career. Deeksha gave me a meaningful role, and working with Kiran and the cast was a joy. Being part of RK Films is an honor, and I hope audiences will love our film.”
