Actor and filmmaker Harinath Policharla’s upcoming movie Naa Telugodu is all set to release on December 12 under Dream Team Productions.
Written and directed by Harinath himself, the film features him in the lead role alongside Tanikella Bharani, Raghu Babu, Zarina Wahab, Nidhi Pal, Ronnie Kaula, and Sufiya Tanveer.
Music is composed by Shiva, while Ramana handled the editing. The lyrics were penned by Chandra Bose and Gaddam Veeru.Speaking to the media, Harinath shared that Naa Telugodu was made with a social message.
The story follows the journey of a soldier who dedicates his life to protecting the nation, rescuing women, and fighting against drug abuse.
The film also draws inspiration from Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), whose legacy motivated Harinath to title the film Naa Telugodu.
Shot across scenic locations such as Goa, Munnar, and Hyderabad, the film includes impactful war sequences and recently received an A certificate from the censor board without any cuts.
Harinath revealed that despite being a doctor by profession, he continues his passion for acting and uses cinema as a medium to convey meaningful messages.
The movie’s Hindi version, titled RK, will also be released in 60 theaters across Telugu states. Featuring five songs and strong performances from the supporting cast, Naa Telugodu promises impressive visuals and an emotional narrative inspired by real-life experiences.
Harinath expressed his commitment to introducing new talent through his production company and urged audiences to support the film and its message.

* We are preparing to hit the screens on December 12th after completing the shooting and censoring of the film ‘Naa Telugodu’. We did it with the intention of bringing something useful to the society to the audience.
* A soldier sacrifices his life for the country. We tried to show some aspects of their lives, saving girls, and saving society from drugs in this film.
* Telugu people got good recognition because of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. NTR is my inspiration. I love NTR’s films very much. I am proud to give the title ‘Naa Telugodu’. We made the film so that we can say what we want to say through films in a way that the audience can understand.
