Amaravati, January 28: Political Moghul AP State Chief Minister Nara Chandra babu Naidu unveiled the biography “Mirzapuram Rani – Krishnaveni”, authored by senior journalist Bhagiratha, at the Secretariat on Wednesday.
The book chronicles the illustrious life of legendary actress, singer, and studio owner Krishnaveni, whose journey continues to inspire generations.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister expressed his delight in releasing the book, noting that Krishnaveni introduced the iconic actor N. T. Rama Rao to Telugu cinema through the film Mana Desam. He emphasized his deep respect for her contributions to the industry.
The book launch was attended by Krishnaveni’s daughter Anuradha Devi, Nandamuri Ramakrishna, senior TDP leader T. D. Janardhan, producers DVK Raju, Umamaheswara Rao, Parvathaneni Rambabu, Kakani Brahmam, Krothapalli Sridhar Prasad, Jhansi Rani, young actor Abhiram, and Gummadi Gopalakrishna.
Author Bhagiratha expressed his joy, calling it an unforgettable honor to have his book released by the Chief Minister.
