Grand Pre-Release Event for Badmashulu… Hitting Theaters on June 6!
Directed by Shankar Cheguri and produced by B. Balakrishna and Rama Shankar, Badmashulu is an upcoming film featuring Mahesh Chintala, Vidyasagar, Balagam Sudhakar Reddy, Muralidhar Goud, Kavita Srirangam, and Deeksha Koteshwar in key roles. The recently released trailer has garnered a fantastic response, going viral for its entertaining scenes and hilarious comedy. Ahead of its June 6 release, the film’s team organized a vibrant pre-release event, attended by directors Tarun Bhaskar and Malik Ram as chief guests.
Speaking at the event, Charan Arjun remarked that just as Mahesh Chintala got his big break, everyone in the film industry has their moment to shine. “Every Friday offers a chance to become a star, though it may take time. I hope every actor in Badmashulu rises to stardom,” he said.
Chief guest, director Tarun Bhaskar, shared, “Many dismiss comedy as easy, but only those crafting it know the hard work and sincerity behind it. While writing comedic scenes for Pelli Choopulu, I was dealing with my father’s serious health issues, scripting through tense nights. Honest effort with talent always pays off with dividends. My father used to call me ‘badmash’ when angry, so I feel a personal connection to this film. I urge everyone to watch Badmashulu on June 6 and wish it great success.”
Director Malik Ram added, “Before Tillu Square, DJ Tillu was a small film. Before Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi, Pelli Choopulu was a modest project. Today’s small-budget successes pave the way for tomorrow’s big films. I believe Badmashulu will lay the foundation for something bigger. Wishing the team triumph!”
Director Shankar Cheguri expressed gratitude, saying, “Tarun Bhaskar’s presence elevated this ‘badmash’ event to another level. Badmashulu is a two-hour fun ride that delivers humor alongside a meaningful message.”
Lead actor Mahesh Chintala urged audiences, “Everyone must watch Badmashulu. We’ve brought natural humor to the screen. If big films are like cities, small films like ours are like villages—you should visit them occasionally!”
Co-star Vidyasagar highlighted, “Badmashulu has no adult content, making it perfect for families to enjoy together. The director worked tirelessly to ensure a great theatrical experience. The characters feel authentic, like your everyday friends or relatives.”
