Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Naveen Chandra Wrap Up Shooting for “Police Complaint” — A Multi-lingual Crime Thriller Directed by Sanjeev Megoti
Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, known for seamlessly transitioning from glamorous roles to powerful negative characters, is now set to surprise audiences yet again in an all-new avatar.
Teaming up with actor Naveen Chandra, she leads the upcoming crime thriller “Police Complaint”, directed by Sanjeev Megoti. The film has recently completed its shooting schedule and has entered the post-production phase.
A Unique Twist in the Thriller Space
Director Sanjeev Megoti — who previously helmed intriguing projects like Aghora (Telugu–Tamil), Aapta, Paurusha, Raghava Reddy, and Adiparvam — brings forward a thought-provoking concept in Police Complaint.
Speaking about the film, he said,“The movie explores the idea of the ‘chain reaction of karma’.
Every action we take has consequences that eventually circle back to us. We’ve presented this philosophical theme through a thrilling horror narrative.”
Sanjeev added that the team completed filming at a brisk pace with full cooperation from the cast and crew, and the final output looks “very promising.” Once the post-production work is done, the team will gear up for a theatrical release in multiple languages.
A Tribute to Superstar Krishna
Adding to the excitement, the makers revealed that a special song in the film pays tribute to the late Superstar Krishna, which they believe will be a highlight and fan-favorite moment in the movie.a
Powerhouse Performances and Notable Crew
Produced by Balakrishna Maharana under MSK Pramida Shree Films, Police Complaint features a strong ensemble cast that includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Naveen Chandra, Krishna Sai, Ragini Dwivedi, Ravi Shankar, Adithya Om, Srinivas Reddy, Saptagiri, Gemini Suresh, and Animal-fame Prithvi in key roles.
Behind the camera, the film boasts skilled technicians — S.N. Harish as cinematographer, Anugoju Renuka Babu handling editing, and music composed by Aarohana Sudheendra, Sudhakar Mario, and Sanjeev Megoti himself.
The choreographers Sun Race (Suryakiran) and Raj Paydi crafted energetic dance sequences, while Murali Krishna Kondapaneni designed the film’s art direction.
The lyrical contributions come from Sagar Narayana, Sanjeev Megoti, and Chintala Prasanna Ramulu. Action scenes have been directed by Dragon Prakash and Raviteja, promising intense and realistic fight sequences.
