Divyavani Chowdary Eyes Acting Comeback; Buzz Links the Former Actress-Politician to Chiranjeevi’s Upcoming Film

Telugu actress Divyavani Chowdary, popularly known as the ‘Bapu Bomma’ of Telugu cinema, is reportedly preparing for a fresh innings in films, with renewed focus on acting. Meanwhile, industry gossip has sparked speculation about her possible association with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film. However, her involvement in the project remains unconfirmed.

Divyavani Chowdary’s Comeback Plans Spark Interest

After making a memorable mark in Telugu cinema and television, actress Divyavani Chowdary is reportedly ready to turn a new page in her career. Known for her expressive performances, graceful screen presence and versatility, the actress has indicated that acting will once again take centre stage, while politics will remain a part-time pursuit.

Popularly celebrated as the ‘Bapu Bomma’ of Telugu cinema, Divyavani earned recognition through films such as Pelli Pustakam and Edurinti Mogudu Pakkinti Pellam. She also connected with television audiences through the popular serial Puttadi Bomma. Her experience across Telugu and Kannada entertainment has helped establish her familiarity with audiences in multiple languages.

Ready for Positive and Negative Roles

In what could be an interesting new phase of her acting journey, Divyavani is open to exploring a wide range of characters. From positive and negative roles to emotionally layered supporting characters and heroine-oriented parts, she is reportedly willing to consider roles based on the strength of the story and the demands of the character.

Rather than restricting herself to a particular image, the actress is looking at opportunities that offer meaningful scope for performance. This approach could open doors to a broader range of roles in contemporary Telugu cinema, where established performers are increasingly exploring characters beyond conventional hero and heroine formats.

For Divyavani, a strong script, a well-developed character and the opportunity to contribute to the narrative could be key considerations when choosing her next project.

Chiranjeevi Film Buzz Adds to the Comeback Talk

Adding to the growing curiosity surrounding her reported return, industry gossip has linked Divyavani Chowdary to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film. The speculation has generated interest among moviegoers eager to see the actress share screen space with one of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars.

However, there is no confirmed announcement establishing Divyavani as part of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming project. The reported association should therefore be treated as unverified industry buzz until the filmmakers or the actress officially confirm it.

If the speculation eventually turns out to be true, the project could offer an interesting opportunity for the actress to reconnect with mainstream Telugu cinema through a high-profile production.

Politics on the Side, Cinema in Focus

Divyavani has also been associated with politics and social-service initiatives, reflecting her interest in contributing beyond the entertainment industry. Her stated commitment to the idea of ‘Pay Back to Society’ has been an important part of the public image she has built alongside her artistic career.

Now, with a renewed interest in acting, the actress appears keen to explore fresh professional opportunities without necessarily giving up her other pursuits. Her return could also highlight the growing space for experienced actresses to take on substantial, story-driven roles in Telugu films.

A New Chapter in the ‘Bapu Bomma’s Career?

With memorable films, television experience and familiarity with both Telugu and Kannada audiences behind her, Divyavani Chowdary has a foundation on which to build another phase of her career.

Whether she returns through a powerful character role, a negative-shaded performance, a heroine-oriented project or a major star film, audiences will be watching for an official announcement about her next move.

For now, the reported acting comeback and the Chiranjeevi film connection remain subjects of industry discussion. If the right projects come her way, Divyavani’s next chapter could bring a new dimension to the career of the actress long remembered as Telugu cinema’s ‘Bapu Bomma’.
